Discovered  in 2020 by the TV show La France a un incroyable talent, Eloïz went on to launch a singing career. Born in Croix, near Lille, in 1999, Éloïse Lapaille began singing in a choir and playing piano as a self-taught child, before turning to guitar and folk. At the age of nineteen, she entered gendarmerie school and practiced for a while, before giving up the profession to devote herself to music. After an initial attempt to make a name for herself on the TV show The Voice, la plus belle voix, the musician entered the TV competition La France a un incroyable talent and made it all the way to the semi-finals of the 15th edition. Eloïz's entry, " Hey bro", was a viral success, reaching 81st place in the sales and listening charts in 2023. This was followed by the release of a five-track EP bearing her name and including "Plus de place pour ta peine". In 2024, an ode to the spaceman "Thomas Pesquet", a contribution to the Frangines' charity song "J'ai mal" and a duet with Ridsa on "Comment tu vas?" followed, as a prelude to a pop, folk and country-influenced debut album, Eloïz. The fourteen-track album, including "Hypersensible ", reached number 53 in the French charts.
